Dear Friends,
Can you help? Right now we need supplies and funds for our Pilot project,
which we hope will launch very soon in a rural but safe area of Kabul Province,
with 50 OLPC XO laptop computers in three home schools for girls (and some boys, too).
When I was in Afghanistan this July, I brought 100 USB sticks,
thanks to your contributions. But we still need to fund solar panel installations for three locations,
and we are negotiating for an alternate source of the XO laptops from the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) foundation.
Our Pilot project is crucial to demonstrate that education through technology is possible for over a million of Afghanistan's children: little boys and, particularly, little girls, who presently are
growing up illiterate because they have no chance of getting a school or a
trained teacher.
Please make your check payable to MTSA and mail it to:

Thank you for your help. Best regards,

PS: This work is not easy, but your donation of $100, or even of $10, is what keeps us marching along the path. Please give what you can.
